Forget about everything, especially the winter cold and makes the best out of your holiday year-end in one of the many beaches of the Yucatan coast, you can choose between the tranquility of Chuburna and Chelem, walk the boardwalk in Puerto Progreso (located just a few minutes from Merida) or make a slightly longer travel and visit San Crisanto with its incredible mangrove reserves or Rio Lagartos or Celestún fun … the possibilities are endless!

Visit one of the most beautiful and vibrant cities in the Mayan World magic, take advantage there are fewer visitors than in other days and enjoy the impressive Uxmal almost to yourself. This imposing and subtle city was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in December 1996.

Approximate travel time by this archaeological zone is noon. To get there, you can take a bus at the bus terminal or hire one of the many tours offered by specialized agencies. Ask at your hotel.

If you are in Uxmal, it would be a shame you lost you the chocolate museum or Choco Story, un divertido museo interactivo, en el cual tú eres el protagonista del recorrido. El museo, además de exponer el proceso que sigue la producción de esta ancestral semilla, es un muestrario de plantas endémicas y fauna silvestre de Yucatán; puedes ver jaguares, monos araña y venados cola blanca durante tu recorrido.

Every 45 minutes there is Mayan ceremonies. The price is $ 120 adults and $ 90 children, seniors and students. Under six are free.
