In Chiapas we’ll take you on a journey through mountains and volcanoes, foggy jungles and virgin beaches to coffee, banana and mango plantations. A stop in the San Cristobal de las Casas mountains reveals a bohemian magical town full of color, flavors and aromas. It’s cobbled roads will take you to lively communities where you can experience the beautiful traditions and customs of the state.

 

Mexico’s jungle is full of surprises, home to the hidden ancient cities of Palenque, Bonampak, Tonina, Chilcuntik, Izapa and Yaxchilan. Amongst the exotic surroundings you’ll walk by the rivers that guide you to the Peten in Guatemala.

 

All of our journey’s through Chiapas will visit some of the states most emblematic cities including Tuxtla Gutierrez, San Cristóbal de las Casas, Palenque, Comitan de Dominguez, Chiapas de Corso, and Tapachula. We’ll visit the areas of the biosphere reserves and national parks such as El Triunfo, Montes Azules, the Sumidero Canyon, La Venta River Canyon and its Time Arch, the Miramar lagoon. The state of Chiapas has something for every type of traveller from agritourism activities and gastronomic treats to archaeological sites and iconic cultural monuments.
